Charles Oviawe

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Charles Oviawe is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Guosa Life Sciences (GLS), bringing more than 20 years of experience in global quality assurance, regulatory compliance and clinical research. His expertise encompasses the development, implementation and oversight of Quality Management Systems aligned with U.S. FDA, EMA, MHRA, NMPA, PMDA, ICH and other international regulatory requirements for Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Computer System Validation (CSV).

Throughout his career, Mr. Oviawe has led quality and compliance initiatives supporting Phase I–IV clinical development programs, nonclinical research, regulatory submissions, pre-approval inspection readiness, vendor qualification, due diligence and global audit programs. His experience includes designing and implementing enterprise Quality Management Systems, risk-based quality frameworks, CAPA programs, change control, quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen regulatory compliance and operational excellence across global research organizations.

Under his leadership, Guosa Life Sciences is committed to delivering quality-driven clinical research solutions while advancing research capacity and strategic partnerships across Africa and other emerging markets.

Dr. Teye Adusu

Director, Alliance Management

Dr. Teye Adusu serves as Director of Alliance Management at Guosa Life Sciences (GLS), where he leads the development of strategic partnerships that expand the organization's global clinical research and global health initiatives. He works with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, academic institutions, healthcare organizations, governments and international partners to foster collaborations that accelerate research, innovation and capacity development.

Dr. Adusu also provides strategic leadership for the Global Clinical Development Network (CDN), strengthening relationships across investigators, research institutions and Centers of Excellence worldwide, including the African Early Phase Clinical Research Network (AE-PCRN), the network's flagship Africa-focused Center of Excellence.

His expertise includes strategic partnerships, alliance management, stakeholder engagement, research collaboration and global health programs, supporting the GLS mission to advance high-quality clinical research and improve health outcomes globally.

Vincent Ahonkhai, MD

Global Regulatory and Medical Advisor | Chair, AE-PCRN Advisory Group

Dr. Vincent Ahonkhai is Principal of Gwynedd Consultancy Group, LLC, a consultancy specializing in global health, biopharmaceutical strategy, pharmaceutical research and development, regulatory affairs, market access and product registration in emerging markets.

He brings extensive executive leadership experience spanning the pharmaceutical industry and global health, having served as Senior Advisor for Global Health at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and previously as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at GSK. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Merck & Co. and the Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute, where he supported Phase I–IV global clinical development programs across multiple therapeutic areas.

Dr. Ahonkhai has led clinical development and regulatory initiatives across North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, with deep expertise in global regulatory strategy, product development and regulatory systems throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. A trained pediatrician, he combines clinical insight with decades of pharmaceutical leadership to guide the development and global registration of innovative medicines and vaccines.
