Press Release
A global collaboration platform connecting investigators, institutions, sponsors, and governments, with AE-PCRN as its flagship Center of Excellence.
MELVILLE, NY, 2026. Guosa Life Sciences (GLS) today announced the launch of the Clinical Development Network (CDN), a global collaboration platform that connects investigators, research institutions, sponsors, healthcare organizations, laboratories, governments, and global health partners into a single coordinated clinical development ecosystem.
The Clinical Development Network serves as the Connect pillar of the GLS enterprise model, Think, Learn, Connect, Deliver, under which the GLS Institute creates knowledge, the GLS Academy develops people, the Network connects the ecosystem, and GLS Solutions deliver clinical development programs. Guosa Life Sciences serves as the Network Coordinating Center, providing strategic coordination, governance support, partner engagement, and quality oversight. Participating institutions retain full independence over their operations and scientific activities.
The CDN is the umbrella for a portfolio of regional, therapeutic, functional, and scientific Centers of Excellence. Its flagship is the African Early Phase Clinical Research Network (AE-PCRN), an Africa-focused Center of Excellence dedicated to early-phase clinical research, translational medicine, vaccine innovation, and epidemic and pandemic preparedness. Additional Centers of Excellence are planned in oncology, vaccines, medical devices, and precision medicine.
Clinical research remains unevenly distributed. Africa carries roughly a quarter of the world's disease burden yet hosts approximately one percent of its clinical trials, even as funders increasingly expect trials to reflect the populations they aim to protect. The Network provides sponsors with a single coordinated point of engagement across qualified investigators and institutions, reducing fragmentation and supporting efficient, high-quality study delivery.
Organizations and investigators interested in participating in the Clinical Development Network can register their interest at guosalifesciences.com/network, or contact the Network team at cdn@guosalifesciences.com.
